Why We Log Every Call
Since 1988, every call and email to our support centre has been logged. It is a simple habit, but over more than three decades it has given us a massive resource of data and a detailed profile of every practice using our system. It is one of the most valuable tools we have for looking after you.
Because we can see each practice’s story, we often notice changes before you tell us. When a new receptionist or new admin staff join your team, the pattern of calls shows it, and we can offer up-to-date training before small problems turn into big ones. Any consultant can also see your history, so you never have to explain your setup again.
Your calls also shape our software. Many of our new facilities started as a question or suggestion from a practice. When the same question keeps coming up, we know which parts of the manual need clearer explanation, and the patterns help us devise new training methods and workshops.
Looking across all our practices helps everyone. If several practices report the same issue, we can find the cause, fix it quickly and warn others before they are affected. When medical aid rules or tariffs change, we know who is most likely to need help and can contact them first. Measuring our response times and outcomes keeps our own service honest.
In short, every call you make helps us improve our system and our support for every practice we serve.
We normally use our database to make things better. This time we used AI to go through our database of emails and asked it “What do our users think of us”. This is what it came up with:
What do our users think of us?
Hi Health Focus, Eminance is brilliant. Claims go electronically, sick notes take seconds, and the flat monthly licence has no nasty surprises. Five stars from me.
Good morning, Stock take used to swallow an entire weekend. Now, thanks to bar coding, my team finishes before lunch. The slow-moving and low-stock reports have shown me exactly which frames to reorder and which to drop, and my stock is finally working for me instead of gathering dust. If anyone asks whether Eminance is worth it, tell them to call me.
Hi everyone at Health Focus! People keep asking how I keep my contact lens patients so loyal, so here's my confession: it's Eminance. Recalls trigger the moment I invoice, I set dates per patient and per tariff code, and reminders go out without me lifting a finger. My patients think I have a phenomenal memory. Please don't tell them otherwise! Thanks for making me look so good.
Hello! For years, pharmacists squinted at my scripts. Now Eminance prints them neatly, and I speak my notes instead of scribbling. Rejections are down and everyone is happier, especially me. Thank you!
Eminance works. Every day. No fuss.
Dear Health Focus, greetings from Namibia. Many assume the best practice software is built only for big South African cities, but Eminance proves otherwise. It runs across our whole region and is trusted by a great many practices here. My patients often travel long distances, so benefits and portions are calculated upfront and there are no surprises at the desk. We chose the desktop version so that we keep full control of our data. Eminance feels mature, proven and respectful of how we work. Thank you for an outstanding product. Regards.
Dear Health Focus team, I was nervous about switching to Eminance. Your team assessed our data, we ran both systems side by side for a month, and the change was smoother than I ever expected. My only regret is not moving sooner. Thank you.
Hello Health Focus. My patients often tell me how impressed they are that our reminders arrive exactly when their next examination is due. They think we are remarkably organised. The truth is that Eminance tracks it all automatically. Thank you for making us look so professional!
Hello. Eminance, in brief. Bookings simple. Records complete. Recalls automatic. Stock bar coded. Claims electronic. Updates free. Support answers the phone. Years of use, zero regrets. Highly recommended.
